Cultivating Skills and Sustainable Growth

SPOKES AFRICA promotes sustainable agricultural practices and innovation among refugee and host community youth and women. Participants gain knowledge of modern farming techniques, soil management, and environmentally friendly practices that improve food security and livelihoods. The program encourages small-scale agribusiness initiatives that generate income and reduce dependency.

Through hands-on training, youth and women learn to grow crops efficiently, raise livestock, and develop agri-enterprises. They are supported in creating small businesses that sell produce or provide agricultural services, giving them both practical experience and economic independence.

The program also links participants to markets, cooperative groups, and resources that allow their farming initiatives to scale. By fostering sustainable agriculture, SPOKES AFRICA empowers communities to feed themselves, build businesses, and protect natural resources.
